Analytics
Jarliet uses two analytics services. The first, Cloudflare Web Analytics, shows which pages are read and how fast they load. It does not use client-side state such as cookies or local storage to collect these metrics, and it is not designed to identify or profile individual visitors.
The data is aggregated: pages viewed, the referring site, the browser and device type, the country of the visit and page-load performance. Jarliet does not combine it with any other data and does not use it for advertising.
The second, Contentsquare, records how visitors use the pages: clicks, mouse movements, scrolling and moves between pages, along with basic device and browser details. From this data it builds session replays, which reconstruct a single visit, and heatmaps, which show where visitors click and how far they scroll. Jarliet uses them to spot confusing layouts and pages that break on some devices.
By default, Contentsquare masks text typed into input fields and does not collect it. Jarliet has no forms, so there is nowhere to type personal details anyway.
Contentsquare processes this data on behalf of Jarliet and under its instructions, as a data processor. According to Contentsquare, the data is stored in data centers in Europe or the United States and kept for 13 months by default.
Hosting and server logs
Like any website, Jarliet is served through hosting and content delivery providers. To deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, their systems process technical data such as your IP address, browser user agent, the page requested and the time of the request. These logs are handled by the providers under their own policies and kept for limited periods. Jarliet does not use them to identify visitors.
Cookies
Jarliet does not set advertising cookies. Contentsquare sets first-party analytics cookies on this site to tell visits and sessions apart. According to Contentsquare’s documentation, the main ones are _cs_id, which stores a visitor ID, a visit count and timestamps for 13 months, and _cs_s, which stores data about the current session for 30 minutes and renews while you stay active. First-party cookies belong to this site’s domain, and other websites cannot read them. Infrastructure providers may also set strictly necessary security cookies to protect the site from automated abuse.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the guides will still work. Blocking cookies for this site also stops Contentsquare, because its tag checks that it can set cookies and records nothing when it cannot. Blocking only third-party cookies is not enough, since these cookies are first-party. Extensions that block tracking scripts have the same effect. Contentsquare’s documentation does not say that the tag honors Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals, so those settings alone may not stop it.
Affiliate links and the external store
Buttons such as “Check prices” go through a short link on this site that starts with /go/ and redirects to the store we work with. The redirect tells the store that the visit came from Jarliet, so a commission can be credited if you buy.
Once you are on the store’s website, its own privacy policy and cookie rules apply, including any tracking it or its affiliate network uses to attribute purchases. Jarliet never receives your payment details, address or order contents. More detail is on the affiliate disclosure page.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, privacy laws may give you rights over your personal data, such as access, correction, deletion or objection to processing. Jarliet does not collect your name, email address or other details that identify you. Session data recorded by Contentsquare is tied only to a cookie ID, so Jarliet cannot match it to a person.
For data held by the store, by Contentsquare or by infrastructure providers, use the contact details in their own privacy policies. Jarliet does not run an inbox; the contact page explains why.
Adults only
This site is intended for adults aged 18 and over. It does not knowingly collect any data from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If the way Jarliet handles data changes, for example a new analytics tool, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change. This version was last updated in October 2026. The terms of use cover the other rules for using the site.
